To all the people out there, my friends, my acquaintances, my school friends, and work friends and even to those who are not on my list, I would like to take this moment in wishing you a Merry Christmas and a great 2010.
I remember the great times of the Seventies at Donnington Middle School (May it rest in peace) and I remember the not so great times. But when I do look back and by God, I have plenty of time on my hands at the moment to do it. I remember whatever happened, there was respect, there was a fine line we never crossed, but those days are gone now. Today there is no respect in this World, the kids of today, terrorise neighbourhoods, people, carry knives and even guns. The police have lost touch with what is right and what is wrong, the P.C brigade have made, not only this Nation, but this World a scared place to live in, where people are no longer aloud to speak their mind or allow people to fly their Countries flag, without offending anyone. The Comedians of today are University or College drop-outs, who think they are funny, I mean come on, if they are that funny, why is it that when there is a vote for the fifty great comedy moments on television, either Only Fools and Horses or Morecombe and Wise are at the number one spot.
The 21st Century was supposed to be better than the last, the future of mankind, instead it’s been about as much fun as a deflated balloon.
So I hope that from 2010 people get their heads out of the sand, Governments get their backbone back and we finally get a Comedian who is naturally funny and doesn’t speak like he was born with a silver spoon up his or her arse.
Have a great Christmas and lets try to make 2010 a better place to live in.
